Whistleblowing channel

The Apetit Group’s whistleblowing channel is in place to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, integrity and transparency, and adherence to the Group’s Code of Conduct.

The whistleblowing channel provides an opportunity to report any suspected misconduct related to Apetit and the company’s operations. Matters to be reported may relate to breaches of laws and regulations, securities-related issues, or activities contrary to Apetit Plc’s Code of Conduct. Reports are handled confidentially, and reporting a suspected violation will not result in any adverse consequences for the person submitting the report.

All potential cases of suspected misconduct are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.

Apetit employees and other stakeholders may submit reports on unethical conduct and suspected misconduct through the whistleblowing channel either anonymously or by using their own name. Through this channel, Apetit can obtain information about potential issues at an early stage and intervene where necessary.

All reports are processed confidentially in accordance with Apetit’s handling procedures by designated persons. Where necessary, other experts may also be involved in the investigation to ensure appropriate handling of the matter.

The whistleblowing channel is a mechanism compliant with the EU Whistleblower Directive for reporting misconduct, as well as an independent channel in accordance with Chapter 12, Section 3 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act for reporting suspected violations of financial market regulations

Apetit must ensure that the identity of the reporting person remains confidential. The confidentiality obligation also applies to any information from which the identity of the reporting person may be directly or indirectly inferred.

Misuse of the reporting channel is considered a serious violation and may lead to further measures.
