– 81 percent of the energy was from renewable sources.
– The share of recyclable packagings was 99 per cent in Apetit products: Apetit has changed all the packaging materials of Apetit products sold through retail channels to recyclable.
– In 2025, 10 % of the fish we used was local domestic fish.
– Research including cultivation and variety tests at the Räpi experimental farm continued, especially with studies on different plant varieties and plant protection methods.

Wellbeing from vegetables
Plant-based food is part of our delicious everyday life. Apetit creates well-being from vegetables by developing delicious plant-based food solutions and oilseed products that help make everyday life easier in all kinds of kitchens.
Every year in Finland, around 150 Apetit contract growers produce millions of kilos of vegetables for us. In 2025, 85% of the vegetables used in our frozen products were of domestic origin.
Climate impacts
Apetit’s climate target was to reduce its own emissions
(Scopes 1 and 2) by 75% by 2025 compared
to the 2019 baseline year. The target was clearly
exceeded, with total emissions decreasing by 80%.

Apetit committed to setting science‑based emission
reduction targets.
In 2025, Apetit Group achieved the Management level and a B rating in the CDP’s assessment of climate change and B- for water responsibility.
A partner to farmers
Apetit is strongly integrated into domestic primary production. Apetit aims to be a partner to Finnish farmers in both oilseed products and vegetable and frozen food products.
