Updated Apetit Supplier Code of Conduct and sustainability requirements for raw materials and packaging materials enter into force

Apetit’s Supplier Code of Conduct, as well as the sustainability requirements for raw materials and packaging materials, have been updated.

The updated requirements will enter into force on 1 July 2026. They apply to all new procurements and, gradually, also to existing supplier relationships. The sustainability requirements for raw materials and packaging materials replace Apetit’s previously valid sourcing responsibility guidelines.

The update is driven by tightening legislation, particularly concerning supply chain management, as well as increased customer expectations regarding transparency, responsibility and risk management in the supply chain. The updated Supplier Code of Conduct has also been aligned with Apetit’s Code of Conduct updated in December 2025.

The Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers of Apetit that deliver products, materials or services to Apetit.
Apetit’s sustainability requirements apply to all suppliers of raw materials and packaging materials and include more detailed auditing and raw material-specific requirements.
