Apetit is Finland’s most significant producer of vegetable oils and rapeseed expeller. Its oilseed products are produced in its vegetable oil milling plant in Kirkkonummi. The main markets for oilseed products are Finland and the other Nordic countries. Apetit’s best-known consumer products are Apetit and Neito rapeseed oils. Other Oilseed Products customers include the Food Service sector, the food industry and the animal feed industry, which uses rapeseed expeller.
Versatile, fresh and soft
Versatile, fresh and soft is a fine description of rapeseed oil. In addition, rapeseed oil contains a lot of essential Omega-3 fatty acids. All Apetit oils are of high quality and pressed in Finland. Rapeseed oil has Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in an ideal ratio (1: 2) and it’s rich in vitamin E. Two tablespoons of rapeseed oil already provide the necessary daily amount of essential fatty acids.
Vegetable oils from Kirkkonummi, Finland
Our vegetable oil milling plant in Kantvik, Kirkkonummi, is the largest in Finland. Here rapeseed oil is produced by mechanically squeezing the seeds and the oil is physically refined by refining. We do not use chemical manufacturing. The oil milling plant uses energy from its own bioenergy plant.
