Apetit Plc, Press release on 1 April 2022 at 10:20 a.m. Apetit Plc: The sale of the Lithuania Grain Trade business to Scandagra completed
On 28 December 2021, Apetit has announced that its subsidiary Avena Nordic Grain has signed an agreement to sell the Baltic operations of the Grain Trade business to Scandagra Group. The sale covers the business and assets of Avena’s companies in Estonia and Lithuania.
On 11 March 2022 Apetit has announced, that the requirements of closing the sale concerning the Estonian company have been fulfilled and the transaction has been completed on 10 March 2022.
The requirements of closing the sale concerning the Lithuanian company have been fulfilled and the transaction has been completed on 31 March 2022.
It has also been decided to close the Latvian company and the business has been shut down. The Latvian company has mainly provided logistical support for wheat and oilseeds procured in Lithuania.
