Quality criteria for Apetit raw materials is strictly defined. The Finnish raw materials are purchased from contract growers which follow Apetit Responsible Cultivation guidelines that are constantly being developed and refined. The aim of this method is to minimise adverse environmental impact of cultivation and to observe the principles of sustainable development.
Our food production facilities in Säkylä, Kirkkonummi, Helsinki and Pudasjärvi have implemented food safety systems in accordance with the ISO/FSSC 22 000 standard. Diligent self-monitoring is also essential to our day-to-day operations.
